Hi! I’ve recently started learning about the different roles in project management and I often come across the terms “product manager” and “product owner”. Who are they and what is the difference between them?

Hi, this is a great question. In general terms of who is the PO and PM are, they play key roles in product development, but they have different responsibilities. The product manager is usually responsible for managing the product lifecycle: creating development plans, interacting with development teams, and ensuring that the product meets user needs. The product owner is the person who defines the product strategy, makes decisions about product development, approves functionality, and works closely with customers or stakeholders.
